What We Believe

Statement of Faith

We believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob revealed to Moses as “I AM” who is eternal and has revealed Himself through Jesus Christ the One and only Savior and through His Holy Spirit.

We believe that the heavens and the earth were created by and are sustained by God’s Word, the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that God’s Word, Jesus Christ, is eternal and became flesh to dwell among us.

We believe that the first Adam sinned which resulted in the fall of all men necessitating a Messiah to redeem us.

We believe that every person must be “born again” by confessing with his mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and by believing in his heart that God has raised His Son, Jesus, from the dead.

We believe that Jesus is the second and sinless Adam whom God sent as a propitiation for the sins of all.

We believe that this same Jesus who died, was buried and arose on the third day and will soon return to this earth to rule and reign.

We believe in God’s Word: both the Old Covenant from Genesis through Malachi, and the New Covenant from Matthew through Revelation.

We believe that the Word of God is the Word of God and is without error in its origins.

We believe that it was written by men divinely inspired, with God as its author and is our only standard by which all our conduct, creeds and opinions shall be tried.

We believe that water baptism by immersion is the answer to God of a clear conscience having been cleared by becoming “born again.”

We believe that all “born again” people ARE the church and that tithe and offerings are to be used to give God’s people His gifts of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, and that their function is to equip God’s people for their ministry; to provide spiritual food for them to eat; and to help widows and orphans in their time of need.
